He poured out joy, confessed his fears—
His praise was soaked in blood and tears.

His Word’s a lamp, His truth our light.

In Proverbs, wisdom takes her stand,
She calls the fool with open hand.
“The fear of God,” her voice proclaims,
“Is where all knowledge earns its name.”
