The voice of God said, “It’s begun.”
From formless void and empty space,
He spoke the world with love and grace.

Day one: let there be light to shine,
He split the dark with word divine.
He called the light day, night was born,
And so began the world’s first morn.

He formed the stars with perfect hand,
He shaped the seas, He shaped the land.
From dust to breath, His work displayed—

Day two: the skies, the waters part,
The firmament with Heaven’s heart.
Day three: the land, the trees, the seed,
He met the earth with every need.

Day four: He set the moon and sun,
To mark the time till days were done.
Day five: the birds took flight and soared,
The oceans teemed, creation roared.

Day six: the beasts walked through the field,
And man was formed — the truth revealed.
In His own image, breath He gave,
A soul to love, a world to save.

Each day He saw and called it good,
Then stilled the storm, just as He could.
Then came the rest, the Sabbath peace,
A song of joy that will not cease.
