Before the law, there stood a man,

Who trusted God's eternal plan.

From Ur he walked, by faith alone,

To find a land he’d call his own.

Abraham heard the holy voice,

“Leave all behind, obey by choice.”

Through desert wind and starlit skies,

He followed hope that never dies.

God made a covenant, clear and true,

"Your children, countless as the dew."

Though Sarah laughed in barren years,

The promise bloomed beyond her fears.

On Sinai’s peak, the thunder rolled,

As laws were carved in stone and told.

Moses received them, hand to flame,

Ten holy truths in Yahweh’s name.

Walk in faith, obey the call,

Through ancient words, He speaks to all.

What He begins, He will complete—

His love is strong, His law is sweet.

From Abraham to Moses’ path,

Each step endured both trial and wrath.

Yet through it all, the light remained—

God’s mercy flowed, His grace unchained.

The Father’s plan, through time unfolds,

With every truth the tablet holds.

Not chains, but freedom they proclaim—

The echo of His sacred name.

Now grafted in by faith we stand,

One people held by His command.

Like Abraham, we still believe—

By grace alone, our hearts receive.
