๐ต Lone Wolf - Grizzly Prayer V1.0
[Start]
Alone I stood on stony heights, the Rockies bold and wide,
The wind was still, my soul was full, no place on earth to hide.
I watched a black bear with her young, two cubs so close, so near,
And whispered thanks to Jesus Christ for letting me be here.
[Verse 1]
But then I prayed more selfishly - 'Dear Lord, could You surprise,
This man who walks alone today beneath these endless skies?'
'Could You send a Grizzly Bear with three cubs, proud and free?'
I smiled in doubt, then turned away - no answer I could see.
[Verse 2]
Twenty minutes passed in peace, the mountain silence deep,
Until I turned my head again - and saw what made me weep.
There stood a Grizzly, strong and tall, with two cubs by her side,
And trailing them, a black bear cub - a gift not to be denied.
[Chorus]
He heard my voice upon the wind, my prayer was not too small,
The Heavenly Father, Lord of Light, had orchestrated all.
Three little ones, just like I asked - but not quite as I planned,
With gentle joy, the Lord replied, with humor in His hand.
[Verse 3]
They climbed the jagged rocky slope, a mother brave and wide,
Three cubs behind her moving strong, in perfect mountain stride.
I stood in awe as they grew small, then vanished like a sigh,
Their shapes now dots upon the rock beneath the azure sky.
[Refine]
It wasn't luck or wilderness - no random path they trod,
But one more time I'd seen the hand of Jesus Christ and God.
He answered not with thunderclap, nor voice from fiery dome,
He spoke through bears and laughter, in a place I called my home.
[Outro]
So if you wonder if He hears the longings of your soul,
Remember what He gave to me - a moment pure and whole.
Not always as expected, but faithful, kind, and true-
The Lord, my Shepherd, gently smiled... and sent those cubs in view.
